How to correctly select and install pulleys?
Select the pulley model and diameter based on transmitted power and speed, ensuring the groove type matches the belt; during installation, the two pulley axes must be parallel with groove alignment deviation ≤1mm; belt tension should be moderate (15-20mm deflection when pressed); recheck tension after the first 24 hours of operation.
What are the alignment requirements for couplings?
After installation, use a dial indicator to check radial and face runout; for rigid couplings, radial deviation ≤0.03mm and angular deviation ≤0.05mm; for flexible couplings, tolerances can be relaxed but not exceed 0.1mm; poor alignment causes vibration, bearing overheating and premature coupling damage.
