1. Before installation, check gear/pulley/flywheel bore sizes and shaft fits, and check tooth faces/grooves for damage; 2. Gear backlash and contact pattern must meet drawing requirements; belt tension should be appropriate, and flywheel/pulley face runout within tolerance; 3. Turn by hand to confirm no binding, then run a no-load trial and check vibration and temperature rise.

What are the symptoms of flywheel/pulley dynamic balance failure?
Symptoms include significantly increased overall machine vibration, faster bearing temperature rise, belt flapping, and loose frame anchor bolts. Remove the pulley/flywheel for on-site dynamic balance correction, keeping residual unbalance within G6.3.
What causes abnormal rapid wear of V-belts?
Common causes: incorrect pulley groove type, non-parallel or misaligned pulleys, excessive or insufficient tension, dust contamination on the feed side, and pulley grooves worn into a bell mouth. Correct pulley parallelism and tension to the specified value.
How to adjust abnormal gear meshing noise?
Check gear backlash and contact pattern. The contact pattern should cover at least 40% along tooth height and 70% along tooth width. If backlash is too small or too large or contact is biased, adjust bearing housing shims or re-scrape the gears.
