Installation Notes
1. Before installation, check springs/damping components for cracks, corrosion and permanent deformation; 2. Spring free height and pre-compression must meet design requirements with correct installation orientation; 3. After assembly, check tensioning force and damping clearance, and confirm no abnormal resonance during trial run.

What problems occur when the tie rod tension spring becomes fatigued?
Spring fatigue shortens the free length and reduces force, causing the toggle plate and seat to separate, increased impact and vibration of the moving jaw, and easy fracture of toggle plate bolts. Measure the free length; when it is 5% below the drawing lower limit, replace the springs as a set.
Does a cracked rubber damping block need immediate replacement?
Fine surface crazing on damping blocks is normal aging, but if deep cracking, rubber-to-steel separation, or compression set exceeding 15% occurs, replace promptly; otherwise vibration will be transmitted directly to the foundation and frame.
How to determine whether the buffer (damper) has failed?
Observe the rebound after buffering: if it rebounds more than twice after one impact, or the damping rod leaks oil or sticks, the damper has failed. Replace with a same-model buffer to avoid machine resonance.
